Hey guys

I sent an email off to a supplier of the Talon rear diffuser about a month ago and just got a phonecall from them today regarding my enquiry.

The price he quoted me for the talon rear skirt (as seen on tryg and peanuts car), $450 including painting and fitting in melbourne.

Now the good thing about this is, we can probley knock about $50 off that price if we dont want fitting. Im not sure exactly how much he was charging for labor because i was at work and couldnt talk much but i said i would get in contact with him again regarding it because i could have a few possible buyers.

Now, I know Concord is offering a group buy on the talon bodykits, so I hope im not stepping on their toes by offering this. Im more than happy to offer Concord their details to maybe get a better price, but the supplier for the talon kits in melbourne is only about 15 minutes away from where i live..Which basicly means ill be able to organise pick up and shipping for those who are interested.

So as long as though im not stepping on anyones toes with this thread, could i get a quick EOI on this talon rear diffuser kit..

Just to note, im personally not ready to buy yet, i have a few finacial things to sort out before any of my money is spent, but id be more than happy to organise it for everyone...

Id expect the talon diffuser to be around the $400 mark painted (not fitted) if this goes ahead, + the group discount of they are willing to offer it.

So can i see a show of hands?

I enquired last week about the rear diffuser last week from them as well. No reply received yet.

I also see X-Factor have rear diffuser on their web site as well. We know shadows products will be an excellent fit.

I want more details on both before I decide which one to get.

Well when i was speaking to him i basicly asked, these are the talon body kits, your just a suppier for them arnt you and hes like yeah how did you know lol.

So its not a cheap immation copy of the talon so the quality of the talon kit would have to be commented on by the people who have them. I saw my first talon in person today, but it was like 20 meters away accross the street....

I spoke to an SA member last week at the cruise about his rear diffuser and it did not fit properly. He bought it painted and had to shave bits off it to close the gaps.
His car is black so it was reasonable hidden by black sikaflex.

Tryg had the same problem and fitted a chrome strip to hide the gap.

I looked on X Factor site for the rear diffuser.. couldn't find it...

Have only ever seen it in coming products section....

Im guessing the ones that shadows is making is a OEM rear air dam. You can get them on ebay i think..

It wouldnt be the full skirt like the talon one..

it would be nice but id have to get my exhaust adjusted to fit it and if i was going to do that i would just get a new full exhaust and i dont have the money for that. if im shelling any money out in the near future it will be for wheels
