I'd recommend this to anyone with stock globes!
I have all of my stock lights replaced (blue interior and white exterior) and they are much better quality.

I assume the reverse lights would look something like this?

I may also be keen on reverse lights if available seperate, I may already have some - I've had some laying around for a while but dont recall ever putting them in, or I may have and they didn't work.. It's something I'll test today ;)

Parking lights are simple, just reach your hand in, twist them and pull out.

The first few times you do it, it might seem hard but once you do it a few times it's a piece of cake.

I have a set from this guy and my reverse lights are the 58 LED version so I was really excited to hear he had a 68 LED version.

For those with an MMCS and reverse camera system, here's what a view from my MMCS looks like in the night.

Note, my driveway has NO lights on that side whatsoever. I live in a townhouse that's one off the main road.

I'll get a price for the 68 LED Reverse Light alone soon.

what type of LED's are the reverse lights?

and technically red and white and blue should be different prices as blues are alot more expensive then reds and white is more then reds also.

i know this on i have purchased 13000mcd red blue and white leds. blues where $4 each and red where just over a dollar each. and white where about half that of blue roughly.

or just buy star LED's brightest leds possible that i know of. 2 of them and 2 batteries if done right can blind a person temporally. and are dam bright through a welding mask also.

Guys,

This thread sparked me to remember I had spare LED reverse lights laying around the place so I put them in my car and made a bit of a guide.

The ones I used were 18LED
The other ones in my above picture are 30LED

Imagine how much brighter these 68LED ones are that ofey has to offer compared to the 18LED one in the above guide.

what type of LED's are the reverse lights?

I'm pretty sure they're mini SMD LED's, but I'm not 100%.

I hope this information helps a bit.

Interested in 68x LED reverse lights, DRL (parkers) and licence plate bulbs.....

If they can be purchased separate as per the original GB...?

I would be interested in:

2 x 30 SMT cabin light blue
2 x 68 led T20 reverse light

If we can get it without getting the whole bundle :)

i still know that if you use 5 star LED's it will he alot brighter then the 68led one.lol literally and it will only be 5W instead of like 21W and be a shitload more bright lol but i dont think anyone makes a T20, star led bulb setup

OK here are the individual part prices:

E.g. Costs Round 2:
2 x 1.5 Watt T10 pole light = A$20
2 x 15 SMT map light (white/blue/red/green) = A$30
1 x 30 SMT cabin light (white/blue/red/green) = A$30
2 x 1.5 watt license plate = A$15
2 x 63 led T20 reverse light = A$60

A set will come at the special price of A$130

I am now asking for more powerful license plate and pole lights. I really want them sickeningly bright.
