Wow! I'm reallly late on this...but I've finally sorted out the details on shipping the intakes.

I can get the intakes to you guys for the prices below.

2.0L 4B11 - SP1835 $395 AUD

2.4L 4B12 - SP1836 $410 AUD

Both intakes are available in polished or black finish, but availability may vary.

Shipping would be via regular postal service priority international 6-10 day shipping, since anything else costs twice as much.

Please send an email to [email protected] for details on how to order and pay for shipping.

What are the differences between the 4B11 and 4B12 intakes?

Any word on hydrosock pricing and if they can packaged into the CAI box to save on postage?

The 2.4L intake has a slightly larger pipe diameter and slight difference in the MAF sensor location. Those are the main differences according to Injen. Each intake was designed and tuned for each engine to provide the most gain for the application.

Shipping on the hydroshield is cheap. I can sell them for a reasonable price, so if you are interested just send me an e-mail.

It's important that anyone who would consider buying one of these intakes understands the laws regarding them in your country or state and the warranty considerations to take into account.

I know you guys are required to have an airbox enclosed filter correct?
And I'm not sure if you have a law protecting your warranty rights like the Magnuson-Moss Act we have here in the U.S. I don't want to see anyone get screwed over on their warranty if you don't have a similar law or act covering the use of aftermarket parts in your country.

If anyone knows more about that subject then I do, please link the info.

in QLD it is not required to have an airbox for any queenslanders wanting one of these. all that is required is that it doesn't suck any particals into the engine and is fireproof. i can put up the exact words given to me from the department of vehicles and transport or something.

but i believe most other places require it to be enclosed in an air box,

Is that price you have stated, is that including shipping?

Also, Injen does not have a "A" in any of their part numbers, it's either "P" (Polished) or "BLK" (Black) at the end of their normal part numbers (i.e., SP1836P = '09 2.4l Polished Intake)

the 2.4L intakes produce 11HP/10TQ
the 2.0L intakes produce 10HP/9TQ

These numbers were pulled from injen's website

Thanks for that info on the law in QLD, Blakey. Yes those prices include shipping.

KAL-EL, thanks for posting the gains on the intakes. I should have thought to post them up. I'm not sure why you pointed out there's no A in the part number though.

My site gives the option to choose the polished or black version of the intake, so that's the only reason I didn't put a P or BLK after the part numbers.

sorry to revisit an old thread, but I am definitely interested in this. If there is a price around the $450 mark I can pay tomorrow.

Just fit the RA air intake available at Mitsubishi or Ofey and open up the hole in front of it as described in other threads. http://clubcj.net/viewtopic.php?t=3694& ... intake+mod
Cost for parts including Air filter. RA intake and mesh for hole comes to less then $250.
This looks standard and works as good as any other product for less money.
