Deano, the part your img shows is the one we're trying to group buy now. Aussie027 was just asking about the lip version alone. So I mentioned the price to him.

It's NOT going to be possible to be the same price though. I expect it to be some more actually.

Considering there is about twice the amount of material used it will still be quire expensive. Probably not as expensive as the ebay store, but still quite a bit of coin.

I assume it goes over the ends of our "horns" to line up with the vertical edges of the centre "intake" area.

Only 2 screws to attach you say??

What was your impression of VOX from their response to you re this part??

PU is Polyurethane, I believe it's a type of hard rubber compound.

The guys there got quoted 150USD without shipping for the lip from Scorpion. However he does go on to say he didn't have a positive experience... although he got what he ordered eventually I think there were some delays and it took awhile.

This is picking up speed but really we need them to respond before we can do anything! I do wonder if they're open in Malaysia tomorrow, if so I'm going to give them a ring to talk numbers.

My malay is ok since my grandparents were from there but I reckon it's going to be a numbers question of how many. I'm going to say 10 and see how it goes.

I'll be in for the VOX one if we're getting something together or if I can bundle it with your shipping if you get the other (bigger) lip organised ofey - can you put me down for one at that price please? Let me know if you need any deposit or anything - and keep us all updated on how it's going - looks much less likely to get ripped off than the larger one and looks mint still - and it's less than half the price- I'm sold!

I'm too lazy to count the responses and I'm sure a couple of people will drop out regardless of the price (believing that they'll get an even BETTER one), so I'm going to make the call to Malaysia today and ask for a group buy of 10.

On another development, I managed to get to know a body kit specialist here in Australia and have sent him the image of the part. He has a neighbour who has our Lancer so he'll look into making this part. He says it won't be as cheap but at least it's Australian. He'll be giving me a quote soon based on creating 10 pieces of these.
