@aspir3:

I've been told by my panel beater that when painting a bonnet, there is a necessity to paint the fender guards as well to allow the paint job to blend in as well. Is that true? OR is he just trying to rip me off?

If you want a professional job yes blending of the guards is required with metallic paint.

for those in vic, i know a guy who has his own paint shop in brighton, hes normally pretty busy but if we combine a few parts/cars we might be able to do a deal .....

I don't mind doing that Tate but really the problem with painting the bonnet as mentioned requires you leaving the car there so he can blend the fender guards and I'm not sure I wanna leave the car all the way in Brighton!

That is rubbish in normal situations Ofey . If they need to paint the guards then they will need to paint the doors and etc.

your car, if it was me I would be having the painter rub back my bumper and guards, flicking some blue over them with the bonnet then re-clearing the lot.

for QLD i can have delivered to my work (liquor barn/drive thru)
i have forklift and safe storage if it can fit on 2 to 3 pallets
bad news is i'm in north brisbane, just south of caboolture
so may suck for some people to come pick up

for QLD i have the TJM 4x4 warehouse in Geebung, its full of Bullbars, canopies, etc.. every possible accessory for 4WD fit outs.

already have spaced cleared and i have access to the workshop on Saturdays from 8:30am to 12:30pm so people can collect their purchase.
