I'm sure they will be willing to hang onto the part for themselves when they eventually get it in stock considering the extra amount of time involved in the wait. Pretty sure if I wanted to buy a brand new car and put one of these cables in it would appear pretty quickly..

I have chosen to refund your money out of my own pocket. Please PM me your bank details.

Your case with them will then be closed. I'll take the part and hope another member buys the part off me.

I don't want to f**k up the relationship I have with them. For one part, the loss of them as a sponsor simply is not worth while.

Just PM me your bank details and I'll refund your money.

Once again, my apologies for the inconvenience.

To sort this out i will take the cable ofey.
daveee from time to time these things will happen with parts....+1 for ofey for paying for this out of his own pocket.

ofey is not a magician or a juggler and we have to go by what they tell us.
3 months is a bit of a wait but....what can you do...

Ofey is right we are trying to build up a relationship with them...
so we have to be patient when things like this happen.

we are all fairly new at doing this so in the future we will be better ready to handle any situation, and we must be all better informed before we commit to any purchase.

i am glad me & ofey(the juggler)....lol.... sorted it out....

At the end of the day i won't all parties to be happy....

thanks for listening.

The cable is of no use to you as you don't have an MMCS. I'm going to think we will need to hold out till someone who has an MMCS asks for it.

We've now supposedly verified it will fit onto any ES. The wiring loom exists already.

The bad point is that it's EX Japan, so if you order, it will take our guy 4 weeks to get it. So please let me know soon if you want it.

Do you reckon its worth doing a group buy?? Or are teh prices set prices?? Depends also whether there will be enough ppl for one for that latter...

As I mentioned, they're set prices. sorry. With Mitsubishi parts, you buy 1 or 100, makes no difference. Unless you're talking about cars.

Hmm I wonder with the next Lancer can we ALL Group buy?

Unfortunately the same rule applies to those.
We need an Evo's VIN and our dealer is not willing to order anymore till the new year at least.

You could ask deano1964 if he's willing to get Frankston Mitsubishi to get it for you.

We need to find elsewhere, that's a given.

The point is this, our sales are nothing to them. The parts guy did tell me if we total up the parts we've bought so far, we don't even cross A$5000. His average per call purchase is A$7000. So it's more that they're helping us than us helping them.

lol - sure... ppl buy $7000 ON AN AVERAGE CALL to mitsubishi parts...

I've called them like 7000 times and haven't paid a cent - so that's blown his theory way past pluto *rolls eyes*

AAAnyway - regardless a discount is a discount and a paying client is a paying client - we're happy, he's happy....

Can we get VRX style swaybars (front/rear) from mitsu ofey? and what would they cost if we can?
(Or is there somewhere better 2 get 'em?)

That is everyones assurance. But as with all things, you need to note that I cannot refund any part once I order it. If you think it won't work, the only way you get a refund is if I pay you out of my own pocket.

ash06, How much did you pay for your controls and can you confirm the part number on your part? I need to keep my dealer honest.
