I have a maglite copy Which is 4D cell as well, that lives under the front passenger seat... there are occasions where you just want a small torch though :)

Hmm now i have go and check if my maglite 2 x aa camoflage edition in my glovebox fits in there. :-) *runs down to car park*

Edit: damn, torch barrel too thin. :( Might fit if barrel was around 28-29mm, but next step up is the C-cell maglight with a barrel diameter of 31.75mm.

Hmm I like maglites too much to throw out. :D

I'll have to try mine and see if it fits. I have a pinkish-purple one that I got at work (Coles).

The hole isnt for torches.. it is for safety flares.. flares are mandatory in japanese cars..

Right... that's what I meant... for the safety flare. :D

Right I've tried this torch out and it fits the hole there very well even without the strap lined up. It's hilly the area I live in and even on a +ve gradient, it doesn't fall out when braking.

Cool, good to know Ofey.... no rattles? I found it was a little loose in there without using the strap to get it a little tighter....

Doh, checked an SCA y'day and the price in store was $17.99. Checked on line y'day and still advertised as the cheap price. Just checked now and online is back to $17.99. :( Oh well. (I really didn't need to impulse buy).
