As we are getting close to elections, now would be a good time to think about joining the 2012 ClubCJ.net committee.
If you think you have a lot to offer the club, then you should definately consider it.
If you think, because you've not been around longer than some who have held positions in the committee, don't worry. People will be voted in based on merit and not their tenure. It's always good to get fresh young people to challenge the incumbents and bring new ideas and direction to the club.
The positions we will be looking to fill are:
Admin(s)
Moderators
and one of each:
President
MLO/PO - Member Liason Office/Public Officer
Chief Buyer
Treasurer
At this point in time it is not clear how many admins or moderators will be required, as this will be up for debate during our constitutional changes discussions.
some basic requirements:
- being a current Premium member
- be an Australian resident.
- be employed with a steady income.
- cleared and current Police Background Check.
- own a Mitsubishi ‘CJ’ Lancer, Ralliart or an Evolution X.
For details on the rough job description and requirements, please see the current constitution @ http://clubcj.net/constitution.pdf
We'll be publishing more details on the election process and how to be a candidate down the track. So for now, think about what you can bring to the club and make it better.
