What Oil Do You Use in Your CJ

Hey Guys,

Had a quick look for one of these threads but couldnt find one (if there is and I'm making a duplicate I'm sorry!)

I know many of the guys here do their own oil changes, and as I do as well I was wondering what oil you typically use, and if you have any recommendations to your fellow members?

I have only done one change since I bought the car and used Castrol Magnatec 10w-40 but I also know that its a fairly standard oil. I am considering moving to Castrol EDGE. What are your thoughts?

2.0L CVT: Gone from Motul 5W-40 to Castrol Edge Sport 5W-30.
No need to go overboard IMHO... .

castrol edge sport 0-something lol

if any1 is interested autobarn in springvale/clayton (princess hwy) in melbourne have Trust oils.
they come in 4l bottles so you have to get 2 (just like the sstf-1 fluid)

I use penrite every day fully synthetic 5W-50

Sleeper only uses Valvoline because he's as Old & Believes Valvoline's biggest advocate ..... :roll:
