Frankston not in the hunt for Australia’s top bogan suburb
The Punch has corralled its contributors, many of whom hail proudly from the wrong side of the tracks, to pencil the following shortlist - which is obviously open to challenge. In no particular order our top 10 bogan suburbs are:
Albion Park NSW, Dandenong Vic, Kambah ACT, Redcliffe Qld, Wyoming NSW, Salisbury SA, Chigwell Tas, Ipswich Qld, Rockingham WA, Moe Vic.

here.
So own up, who here is bogan?
Franghanistan! That's just gold... .

Next VIC meet, I suggest all the wannabe Bogans come along. We should go try the
BOGAN BURGER
Not for the faint hearted... .
The $15.50 burger's big turkish bread roll is topped with a steak, a chicken schnitzel, a potato cake, bacon, egg, cheese, onion, pineapple and beetroot.
There's no asking if you want fries with that.
The burger comes with a mountain of fat potato wedges.
Oh, and salad.
Deakin University nutritionist Dr Tim Crowe estimates it would weigh in at 7000 kilojoules.
Who's with me!? C'mon boys you only live once *burp*

^^ All that "Bogan Burger" is missing is the UNIT sticker ROFLMAO
I don't know about Redcliffe being Brisbane's Bogan-est suburb... I'd go with the whole of Logan City Council area... THAT is by far the Bogan-est area. The Lord Mayor of LCC has started a campaign to "remove the Bogan from Logan" but it's not working lolz
Here is an article on it, and some of the "famous Bogans" to come out of Logan.

Ha Dandenong... I use to work out there and everyone there always said Dandenong is the ass end of Melbourne. We worked out in the South but I use to hate having to go into Dandenong itself; its an absolute hole. Every area though has its places that should be bombed and its nicer places. The nicer places of Dandenong are areas closer to Rowville.
Laverton is pretty bogun too on the area near the RAAF base and out to Laverton North. Norlane out in Geelong; mini Dandenong.

Owning up....I'm in Ipswich, Qld....Classified as Queensland's Tasmania lol..or as I hear from my Brisbane friends two head City. I personally call it character building from all of things I have witness and endure working and living here. Of course I know there is a lot worse places to be.
