A letter to the people…

It has been a rough couple of months since the election was run, and we the committee feel that our loyal members of the Club should be given a brief insight as to what has occurred in this time.
First and foremost, our Club President was found to be going about club business on his own accord, without the approval from the committee. This happened on a few occasions, and subsequently he resigned and was later banned for his actions.
On one of these occasions he threatened legal action with the Victorian chapter of our club over the use of the ‘ClubCJ’ name. This forced their hand and they removed all branding with the club. Following this, the Tasmanian chapter also pulled all associations with the club due to backlash over said issue with the Club President.
Said ex-President was also threatening Committee members, and playing childish games over what had occurred. This further cemented our decision to ban him indefinitely.
We only want the best for the club and its members, so we have been investing time into how we can bring the club back to where it once stood. If you have any suggestions please feel free to let us know!
Whilst we do have a few available committee positions we have decided that we will not be taking anyone on board for the moment, as we are in a process of change. I do encourage however that if you are interested in any of the positions that you PM myself or aspir3.
I thank you for your support on the matter, and hope that you continue to stick around into the future.
