The only problem with Ofey he seems to good to be true, so many new members continue to question his motive. It is a shame society has turned that way that we believe every one is out to rip us off.

Nope all I know is that there have been several hassling calls to the parts guys at PMR.

Should not be too hard to reverse engineer.
They clearly had dealings with Irving before as "they knew" that Irving is ripping them off blind.
If Ofey was that way inclined, he could go thru all his PMs find the ones that never followed through on the sale, to narrow the list down to possible suspects.
They wanted a courier - hence outside Melb metro or interstate - so exlcude those in melb metro as likelys.

I guess it would be good to find out from the parts guy what parts this clown on the phone, see if matches with any requests Ofey recieved. Then you have a likely candidate/s.

The only flaw in this approach is if this person had dealt with Ofey long time ago and just decided to go straight to PMR this time around. So no paper trail.

But why bother, we do not have definative proof even by this approach.

Our relationship with PMR is strong enough withstand deckhands (say with kiwi accent) like this.

The problem is, we can't be too sure if they're members of ClubCJ.

ClubCJ pops up a fair bit when you google things on the CJ Lancer (I found it through one of Tadzor's Youtube videos), so maybe they're trying to get a good deal that way?

There's not much you can do if you can't identify them. I guess just have the PMR guys hang up the moment ClubCJ pops up and it's not from Irving?

Danny has put things in perspective. I had to make the post since it was reported to me. All I was told was what I said, someone name dropped ClubCJ.

I want to makes sure Nick and PMR see that we stand for no nonsense from what we can control.

You have done so much for the members and the club as a whole, that the fact that people are bringing your honesty and integrity into question absolutely infuriates me!
Without your ongoing efforts and countless man hours going into the Group buys and parts supply chain to members a lot of us would not have the CJ's we have now, modded to the standard that they are
Nick and the PMR crew have been brilliant sponsors and become good friends as well and this issue must be addressed to prevent idiots spoiling it for the majority
I agree with the sentiments expressed here, we need to tighten it up and if it keeps happening then place restrictions on the process which sadly will disadvantage some people
You have our full support and so does Nick and the crew
Never doubt your good standing with us mate and let's name and shame if we can

Wow! thats really disapointing.
Ive done my research trying to find the best prices in regards to parts for my RA and ofey knows because even after a whole day of ringing alot of dealers from knox mitsu to city mitsu no one could beat ofey's prices (city mitsu came in 2nd).
Its really a shame people are ringing up preston motors and being abusive to its staff over parts and prices. Honestly and like others have said what are you going to gain by busting their chops? $20 max, is it really worth it? probably not.
Instead they should be thankful and say, hey its cool there is a FREE website that gives us these awesome bonus's like cheap parts and we get to net work with other fans of the CJ model.
My neighbour was apart of a holden club and they had a annual reg fee of $80 and if u didnt pay it well you wernt part of that club, they had monthly meeting and so forth (this is going back 15 years) but if you didnt pay then you wernt part of the club and you were not entitled to the benefits, and here we are getting assistance for being someone who made an account on a forum.
As for ofey well ... your a thief... how dare your round up $0.08 my god do you know i had to work 2 seconds to make up that 8 cents you took from me??LOL!!!!!!!!!!!! seriously people who cares if he rounds up even to the nearest $5 or $10 bracket the time effort and petrol he spends doesn't even count for it, in fact ofey should charge a min of $5 just for the effort to do it.

I just wana say ofey, thanks for being a top bloke and doing what you do for FREE, youve helped me before and i thank you for it.

don't like it piss off, simple really if you think irving is ripping you off you need your F***ING head read you stupid pr!ck/s, i have dealt ith him a few times mainly GB parts and he goes beyond his means to assure the lowest (best) price is provided to you, this is the main reason i stopped being an importer on another forum, due to people like this, the best one i had was one guy go on ebay and found "the same part $2 cheaper than your charging" that's fine pay $2 less and get hammered by their postage cost's....
Alot of the time if you are nice to your local dealer they will give you good price (this is for member's in other sates).... just my point on the subject!

Irving you do an awesome job for this club and have in the past provided many of us with free information and tips. Additionally PMR and in particular Nick has been nothing but super accomodating to me whenever I have visited Melbourne from Sydney.

CCJ is a great resource and for someone to damage the good reputation of this club, well they should be banned from any association with CCJ or PMR.

Keep up the great work Irving and I know that we all appreciate the effort you go to to provide better than competitive pricing to us.
