Removing Headlights

Is it easy to remove the headlight??

My bulb was blown and all the glass pieces are inside headlights.

I need to remove the headlight and vacuum inside.

Before I do that, I have to remove the headlight and move the clear cover.

I want to know how to remove it and it will be the same as installing angel eyes.

you'll need to remove the front bumper me think

you gotta take out the bumper and bake the headlights to get it open.... this thread explains it....

yes, you need to remove the bumper, and there is 4 bolts you need to unbolt.

Then to open the headlight to clean it out you will need to follow the procedure for the angel eyes install, that is bake the headlight and undo the tabs etc

Right, I looked at my headlight this morning and I thought. Why do you need to take out your headlights to get this done? Why not simply stick the vacuum cleaner hose straight into the hole?

Chances are it won't suck it through the hole...

stick a smaller plastic tube on the vacuum(tape it) and use the suction to pick the pieces one at a time.

If you have compressed air available, make or buy a venturi set up.

The suction hose of the venturi will be able to get any where and suck it out.

You could just remove the headlight and either vacuum, get sticky roll or play-do in there to pick up the glass bits.

Or bake it like a chicken!! Roast headlights with abit of roast potatoes and anything else you like .. But yeah if you do bake it, keep an eye on it as it only takes about 5-10mins to soften the seal and keep it away from the back of the oven

Seems like the glass pieces were hot and they melt inside black plastic. I think i need to buy right side headlight. do you know how much are they??

Also do u know where I can buy HID projector style headlights??

If I need to replace the headlights, I rather replace with HID and pay abit more.
