Number Plate Bulb size

I recently purchased these canbus error/flicker-free bulbs and was devastated when I tried fitting them as they seem to be too big. They are W5W 194 but appear to be more suitable for headlights than number plates. Which led bulbs are the best that won't flicker and sized the same as factory bulbs? Any good sellers on eBay?
On a better note, I changed interior lights to LEDs and they're super bright and look much more appealing than the stock yellow globes
Only issue I had with the reading lights is when you turn them on, it flickers after 2-3 seconds but if I have them turned on only when the doors open they don't flicker? Lancers are so strange at times...

i got T10 Wedge LED's, work nice, very bright on the no. plate and shine some light on the bumper for extra Need For Speed Rep points lol.
https://pulsar.ebay.com.au/plsr/clk/0/S ... M%3D%22%7Dyou can get cheaper ones off sites like geek if you dont mind waiting a while. from my experience make sure you get the "wedge" with the two metal wire contacts.

**edit*** there is also a HUGE bulb list, top of the lighting section from memory. written by ZERO (correct if wrong)
basics are --> parkers, Reverse lights and number plate lights are the same.
Reverse are better with a reflector LED or stock, you wont see squat with the bulbs i posted above (experience, behind you is just a blue tinge) these work better -Craig (Lancer1993) can vouch, its a similar link he gave me for mine
https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/4x-T10-194- ... SwbdpWX~LEIndicators and brake lights need resistors or cruise control wont work (brake lights) and indicators will go mental (flash quickly)
Headlights --> you need the EXACT same bulb as referenced in the list, whether LED (pain to put in) halogen or (God Forbid coz of the rages) HID. thats bout it for exterior lights. have fun and REMEMBER POLARITY lol.
i ordered 4 sets (8 lights) because i kept getting *duds*, yeh i was the only dud that day

is this for both reading lights?
most likely could be the bulb being in loose, connection being a bit "iffy" (bulb not staying in),
or least likely, not consistant/constant power to them when manually activated rather than the door.

Are they the same size as factory plate bulbs?
I might have to buy 10-15 in case they start flickering lol
Also, the bulbs on the photo above are plate lights and they didn't fit in the plastic enclosure.
Left is interior bulb and boot light bulb, came in a 4 pack which was nice for whole car. Right is plate light which didn't fit.

AAAHHHH i know why my bad.
the one i linked i used for parkers, reflective i used for reverse.
https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/4x-White-T1 ... SwvU5XNaiGthese are shorter and will fit in both sedan and sportback housing.
for the one on the right, im fairly sure you need the two conducting "prongs" on the bulb, i tried some like that and had no luck, left me with a broken parker insert trying to force it to work (i got angry) and broken dignity.
One on the left should work all the time --> leave the cover off and see if the whole unit is flickering or just one of the LED's. could point to whether it is the bulb or a contact issue

So that bulb you linked will fit plate light holder 100%?
The one on the left flickers in reading light even with cover off. It's just weird but it works when door is open so I'm not going to use it as reading light.
Strange that the one you linked me is W5W but not 194 as stated on the CJ bulbs list by zer0. Hopefully it'll work :p

100% will fit the plate light holder, those are the ones i have, havnt skipped a beat.
weird it's just the left... maybe the power received by the bulb is different with the door and reading function. hopefully someone else can clarify that for you

Sweet! I'll grab some now
Oh my bad, I meant the left bulb on the photo above that I added. Both reading lights flicker when button is pressed, in door only mode they work a charm

ah fair, yeh i figure the power difference between the two settings is somehow causing this, someone will have to confirm how to fix this

I dont have any brightness effected by door open or using the reading function
I dont have a lux meter to prove it but its just as bright either way
Flicker is caused cos the bulbs need to be "canbus"

In the old days we just fitted led' s purchased from Jaycar. They were a nice white light. I have had these for over 8 years with no issues.
They were the same for parkers and number plates. No need for big bright lights.

Mine are a lifesaver, used to finish work at 10-11 for a solid few months, with old lights i had to put my phone torch on, now the ones ive got now are brighter than my torch
plus if you are deso, whoever freaks out the most about the light is the one to drop off first before they are sick (the more you know hey)
