Colour Changing LED fog lights and LED reverse lights

hey all, got some colour changing led fog lights i am going to put in. they will be left on white/yellow (Whatever i find most effective) yet will change the colour at events and taking photos to blue, because its blue, i like blue. lol

just curious if these are illegal even if i am using them properly? if so im just going to keep the remote at home or keep it out of arms reach in my car so i have less chance of being booked for it

***reason i feel comfortable doing this is that i live in a well lit, relatively fog free area*** plus the parentals dont let me drive in bad conditions

Also, to save another thread, got LED reverse lights so i can see better, i park near a dark tree at night.

how to i go about removing the old bulb? i popped the cover off yesterday but could budge the bulb in a turning motion, figured i would check before destroying anything.

Red or blue lights on the front of your car would only do you any good if its a police vehicle or similar otherwise your asking for trouble.
Old bulb should be a twist fit into the headlight housing like the rest of the bulbs
Once the plug assembly is out the bulb itself is a direct press fit into the bulb plug

Legally you can only use white lights on the front of the car.You may get away with yellow but I doubt it.Any other colour and you will be defected.

I thought Yellow for Fogs was ok? Ive seen a lot of Older WRXs with them.

But the colour changing lights sound awesome, If you leave them white while normal driving you should be fine.
It's not like police will know they change colours at first glance. Unless they thoroughly inspect your car.

Just looking at the ADR's on lights and front fog light colour is listed as "white or selective yellow",so you could use yellow but it still would attract attention.

put the lights in yesterday, pretty disappointed with them.
i was expected the light to be duller than a halogen because it's a RGB LED, But it only lights up the lense and thats it. you cant even notice the difference from the drivers seat in pitch black!

while i like the look of them, i feel practicality should be considered over looks...

any suggestions of alternatives? only colour i want it white/yellow for driving and blue for photos and meets rather than all these different shades of red and green, yet if i get defect tested with my foggies blue.... rip my clean driving history
