Postby Mullet » Tue Jun 03, 2014 7:42 pm

hi guys, just wondering if anyones changed their foglight bulbs and could be of assistance? I've got my foglight bulb + holder out but can't seem to seperate them. It's like they're soldered in or something? car in question is a 2014 vrx.
any help is much appreciated

So twisting the bulb around doesn't work??

I did mine the other day (aftermarket though) to check a fault and they are a bit hard to get in/out (again cos of this particular set I have)

That's the bulb hoges. Yeah it's definitely one piece, the contacts for the bulb are soldered onto connections for the wiring plug. which is a bit of a bummer. I don't suppose there's aftermarket holders available anywhere?
off to ebay i go! haha

Why would there be aftermarket bulb holders? That is how they are made, it's a H11 bulb. You change the whole thing, not just the glass part.

Can you take a pic?

The bulb cant be soldered onto the wiring...or else how would you change your bulbs?

The bulb has a plug on the end of it, where the harness/wiring plugs into it

You just buy the entire unit, it's not expensive
