Driving Lights

Good afternoon.
Im looking to install a pair of driving lights on my 2012 VRX. Mitsubishi claim there is no factory mounting for such lights, or a nudge bar that I can mount them on and suggested getting something custom. Upon contacting two suppliers, they advise they've not done this car before.
I'm assuming they would be mounted between the headlights and the number plate so as to not obstruct the airflow to the radiator.
I thought this would be a fairly basic addition to many cars.
Has anybody done this please? Where, when and how? I was going to post a photo but as this is a CJ club I didn't think it necessary. Any ideas, photos, contacts appreciated.
I'm based in Brisbane.
Cheers,
Greg

Hi,
Sorry. I wasnt clear. I meant spotlights/foglights rather than the smaller driving lights.

Hi Greg, to attach a photo, go to the "clubcj" tab at the top of the page. Click on images then upload, pretty straight forward from there... Just copy and paste the link

Walking up this tread... did you get something made?
I'm looking an making a bracket to mount some small 4" spot lights, not sure on where on how but it will put my welding skills to the test.
The basic plan is to attach the bracket behind the number plate so any extra bolt holes are hidden, even when removed.

I live in brisbane now.
I have a bracket that mounts behind the licenxe plate with the led bar mounted to it using a "stedi" wiring harness

Thanks,
When I get the bits of steal together I'll weld something up. If its too heavy I might then get someone to make it out of alloy.
I have noticed a slight curve to the number plate area on the VRX bumper. Plus its angled down around 15°. Is this common to the CJ or an issue with my VRX?

My RA bumper does the same. Just bend up the bracket a bit before you put it on the car or have a light bar that has a decent adjusters on it in the first place to get the angle right

Just saw this online, now wondering if there is anyway to make something like it for a CJ?
Need to poke my head under there on the weekend!

That will also fit the cj lancer. It's a standard bar that is held on with the number plate screws. Most automotive stores sell them.

Are you sure? Looks to me like the lower guard is attached to the bar holding the lights.
Either there are 2 items or one large bar set up attached at 2 points including under the car.
Saw this Subaru with a similar setup.
Also this might be a bit of overkill LOL
