SMOKED SIDE MARKERS

I purchased these from EBay today after a tip-off from member: Gleno.
Genuine "DEPO" Lighting Product.
They are E-Marked to meet Australian Design Rules, (which means they are legal to use in Aust).
1 pair (L & R are identical) @ $34.95 + $5 P&H within Aust.
EBay Link:
MITSUBISHI CJ LANCER SMOKED SIDE REPEATERS (07-12) ES VR VRX and EVO X
They might not seem very dark .... which is why they meet ADR's .... if they were any darker, then they would not comply ....
I know many members on here have sprayed theirs with VHT Nite Shades & covered with various Tint Film's.
However these sprays & tints are usually very easily scratched and/or damaged via light/med contact.
These DEPO side markers are actually tinted within the plastic at the time of manufacture.
Here is DEPO's full range of Side Markers available via various Ebay traders.

Install is easy, you push the blinker back, then it should come right out.
Perhaps a group buy if its worth it?

Since the postage is so cheap ($5) it might be easier to just buy it directly off eBay.

If you guys want to save some cash i got the exact same amount of smoke on those lights with a can of niteshade. If youre gentle with it, it will come out looking exactly like these. I did it to the top centre brake light on the boot lid too, came out nice and gently smoked as well.

OK I hope I'm not interpreted to be stirring but I have some thoughts on this part.

Not sure what you mean by this.
Are you saying these won't scratch nor get damaged on light/med contact?
It will take some serious scratching to get to the vinyl or the nightshades for the side indicators get scratched, I suspect that will be the least of your problems. The fender bar would be far more of a problem.
You can't isolate a scratch or contact just on your side indicator, it will usually be a good part of the fender.
A nightshaded side indicator won't get scratched off easily. Need an alcohol based solvent to wipe it off.
Can of Niteshades = A$12 (which will do well over 200 indicators)
And if you ever want to go back to a clear set, there's a product called Goof Off! at your local Bunnings for about A$8.
Having said that A$40 is pretty affordable for most.
