Philips 'BlueVision' vs 'Crystal Vision' vs 'Diamond Vision'

thanks! gonna get the 4300k then noob question: How do you change them?lol any link to DIY or get someone to change them?

I have the diamond vision bulbs because its very hard to tell whats compliant for headlights nowadays and I do like the blue tint of it.
Theres so many people with such bulbs on their cars and with HID's standard on most cars nowadays its make it even harder to tell what is actually legal.

Plus you'll have the occasional car with HID's installed when its not supposed to and then blind you when approaching. Please don't do this

Getting them installed is relatively easy. its just a quick plug and play. Instructions on how to remove them should be in your car manual

Genuine Philips automotive headlight bulbs are about as expensive as headlight incandescent bulbs go. Brick and motar retailer typically $60-80. Online sellers $40-50. Low-mid $30s is about as cheap as you're likely to source them when all the stars align (eg. online seller having a sale, with free shipping to Aus, etc). Anything coming out of Asia you can presume is non genuine.

I wasnt aware that anything over 4200 Kelvin was illegal, thats a bit stupid, is it to do with the fact that they emit less light? or too much? or simply the colour, which, looks white at 5000.

it do to with the reflection from the head light has on the driver on the on coming traffic hense why HID on reflector lights are illegal because theoretically the refection is as bad if not worse than driving around with your high beams on with reflector lamps .... its not illegal on projector lights as they concentrate the light on a certain area reflector lights spread the light every where hense why over 4200kw is illegal on reflector lights

4200-4500K is the key to providing you with a good output strength to be usable and a 'white' light that is not yellow or blue....

I have used all of those x3 type that have been listed, but I currently have PIAA 4500K. They are the best I have ever used - really bright, and really white. About $60-90 depending on where you get them.

I also use 2500K yellow lamps for my Foggies - the best to actually get through and under the fog

ok guys done with my low beam and parking lights

next is high beam and those yellow number plates light which i would like to change to white.

Anyone know what type our lancers have for high beam and for the number plate lights?
