When Shane and I did his DRLs we bought the LEDs and resistors seperate from Jaycar.

We didn't have time to wait for some to come in from overseas lol it was spur-of-the-moment decision to make them!

It only took mean hour at the most to solder a resistor to each LED and then solder the tails of each LED to a long wire. 2 lots of 9 LEDs.

I do prefer pre-resistored LEDs but time was the issue then.

if you have heaps of time like i do to do anything, then you make proper arrays, of series, parallel LEDs.

I should've taken a picture.

Series parallel is not ideal if you want the brightness of each individual LED to be 100% the same as the others.

Ok if there are say 10 clusters of 5 LEDs. Then each cluster would have the LEDs in series and then each cluster would be in parallel.

some of mine were locally purchased Adrian.. didnt wait for the 5mm ones... the 10mm did take 10 days. But if you plan ahead of time...

I try not to do things spur of the moment.. I will work hard to get this right. Or it is a waste of a cover, which are not easy for me to locate.

well essentially if you use the right resistor for 12-14V then you will get the full brightness out of them,

well you should technically, cause series the current is all the same, and if you only do 3 in series for white then you still have at lease 4V spare after your last LED so really you are supplying the correct Voltage and the Correct Amperage, so full brightness,

plus it seems like when i read your explination of,

seems like you need something else with that, seems unfinished lol.
