Vland Headlights DRL & Indicating

Postby Volland » Fri Jun 14, 2019 11:58 am

Hi, I'm interested in purchasing some Vland headlights for my Lancer, but I've got a couple of questions (I'm very new to lighting, so please bear with me).

I have a 2017 facelifted Lancer so it already comes with pre-equipped DRL's. If I were to get the Vland headlights, is it possible for me to just remove their DRL's by not connecting them? So what I would like to happen is that when the car's engine is on, the Vland DRL's are off (but the original, pre-equipped DRL's remain on), and when I turn the stalk once, the Vland DRL's come on, and if I turn the stalk twice, the low beam headlight bulbs also turn on.

One more thing, I feel like it will be impossible to see the indicator at night with these headlights. So would it be possible to make it so that the DRL on one of the headlights turns orange when I indicate at night? If so, how would I go about doing this?

Hope this all makes sense. Thanks in advance!

You can only have one set of drl’s. If you go the way you want to you’ll probably get defected. Best way to go is not to use the headlight drl’s

So I can still grab the Vland headlights, but just leave the DRL unconnected?

Ok cool. I'm not sure if they're ADR approved, but I have seen them everywhere so I'm assuming that they're fine
