dont listen to him. rework soldering is easy. just expensive for the rework station.

keen eye, magnifyer and good rework station and that is a easy job.

and yes i have done SMD soldering of very very small LED's

and i actually have some of thoes 1x2mm leds lying around im my room lol and the larger ones also, in white and red.

100s. And they are everywhere! There is 2 or 3 behind each button and about 50 in the instrument cluster.

not to mention getting to them all.

one mistake and you could also be up for a new instrument cluster.

It's better off left as it is unless you do this sort of thing professionally or had a professional do it.

hmm i dont like webmarshal says i typed a word that isnt even here, and it cleared my post. but anyway adrian i never said it was easy to change the LED's in our car, only said that SMD led's are not as hard as you made out.

I'm planning to get some foglight replacements philips crystal vision.. the ebay seller includes 2 W5W T10 bulbs..what are these used for??

The bulb list doesn't have T10

T10 are wedge Globes.
They are the parking light globes.

I don't recommend going with whiter bulbs for fog lights...

The yellower the fog lights are the better they work in fog/rain/etc

Unless of course you're doing it to match the headlights when you drive with the fog lights on 24/7 in clear weather like a Commodore wanker :roll:

Make sure the parkerlights are not BLUE! That's illegal! Even the white parker lights tend to look slightly blue with the stock halogens :S

thanks i won't anymore...i have noticed your reference to "commodore wanker" more and more. And their 6000k-10000k HIDs are annoying
