ClubCJ - The CJ Lancer Club

Background
A number of members have expressed interest in ClubCJ merchandise.
In response to this, the CCJ Committee of 2012 would like to invite product suggestions and designs through a competition.

Suggested items include: T-shirts, polo's, caps, hoodies (both zippered and pull over variants) and badges.


However what we're REALLY after are Logos and print designs!
In an attempt to keep production costs low, do keep the designs within 1 to 2 prints and 2-3 colours.

For design cues, perhaps the Ralliart merchandise catalogues can be consulted (2010) (2009).
Also for reference, here's a couple of designs, the Malaysian Lancer Club (lancerzoneGT) have already produced:



The designers of the adopted designs will be presented with a number of the completed merchandise courtesy of the club.
Also some products from our sponsors and Chief Buyer may find its way to you.

The decision on designs or judgement process will be made in due course but in the meantime, We look forward to seeing just how creative some of you are. So get your creative juices going and impress us all!

Oo! Yes I have a request!

When I had a skyline, SAU released these straw hats:


When they brought them out I thought "Why the hell would you want that?"

And ever since then, I always wish I had one It would be great when you're out and about in the sun (like on cruises, BBQs, trackdays), and something a bit different to just another cap.

Should be easy to get made too, as you only have to get the ClubCJ thing stamped on the ribbon.

i`d wear that , straw hats are the best in the sun.

Suggestions of items are welcomed but those won't win you prizes nor enable our merchandising.

Well I had these a while ago, but never had the time to really follow it up whilst in the Comm and one of our sponsors pulled out at the time too which could have produced my idea.

Here is a simple design idea for shirts I had for the club. Not sure if it's applicable for this comp but here it goes anyway

Background: It's a running joke that the guys in the club have that badges add KW's to a car. And the Ralliart one is such a prime example.

I like your idea Nick, but I would put the car in the centre and have a heap of small mods radiating from it
e.g. vinyl blackout, side mount plate, chrome trim, folding mirrors, angel eyes, DRLs, bodykit, Ralliart bonnet

Or you could do a side on view and bigger things like exhaust, headers, wheels etc.

Ah yes, but this was a simple and clean design to get a simple funny running joke across and nothing more.

Plus it was made in a way to keep manufacturing costs down. (less colours, less complex pictures/patterns = less cost to make) and thus give members a nice cheap and funny T-shirt.


If you want to build on it yea, I like that idea! Like an exploded blueprint of additional mods etc with the car in the center.. Nice!

I dont have photoshop or anything, so i was thinking of having something similar to what blade888 put up. But just having the club cj on the front and then having the lancer in the white outline going across the back then up the top or down the bottom of the shirt or jumper "the cj lancer club"

Terry if you were Draw your design on a piece of paper and scan or take a picture of it that would be acceptable.

EDIT: I will be uploading a series of Logo and template files that you can make use of to create your design. Also remember guys we have to consider copyright as we do intend to sell these products.

im sure rough ideas will be fine Terry, as Nath said draw then scan, them im sure one of the many graphic gurus here will do it up abit better
