Hi everyone,
I was very very happy with the bluetooth handsfree system in my 2010 activ, until one day, it turned into a chipmunk.
I push the button to tell it to call someone on day, and it came back with the "Handsfree System, ready..." but it said it like it was a tape being sped up.
I laughed and laughed and laughed. Then I told it a number, and it read it back to me in the sped up tape voice. Super high pitched and sped up. Very weird.
Then... it just stopped working all together. It doesn't see my iPhone 3GS at all anymore. I deleted the car from my iPhone's list, and now it wont reappear again.
Am I doing something wrong or should I just ring up Mitsubishi and talk to them about it?

does the unit even respond to you when you press any of the buttons?
Try disconnecting the batter for 30 minutes or so, hopefully to reset the unit (this will also reset your ETACS/ECU and all the radio presets!)
The only "bad" things avout resetting your ETACS/ECU is the car will re-learn your dirving style and the ECU will adjust accordingly.
anyway try de-powering things and see if the BT module comes to it's senses. Makes no sense for it to "speed up" all the voice snippets are just digital samples on a chip. Let us know how you go if you try the power down method.
