Cable route from battery to interior

Has anyone got any ideas please for an easy route for running a 13.8v cable pair from the battery terminals to the interior or even the luggage compartment of a VRX sedan?

Drilling the engine firewall looks very scary and there doesn't seem to be any obvious grommets which might be utilized. everywhere else has existing and extensive cable looms or airbag stickers. I'm prepared to look outside of the obvious if it works - say along the chassis and through the floor somewhere.

Thanks for any suggestions on this one,

OG

There is a gromet above where the accelerator peddle is mounted. That hole pops out just behind the drivers side strut tower. Thats the easiest place to run the cable for any power...

Haha thanks mate. Yeah it is as far as i know. Mine is a MAY 08 build...So most likely anything after that would have it if mine did...

Thanks Michael,
I see it now on mine also. It's a long way back in there but I'll find a way to get there. It looks like there's also a corresponding hole in the sound deadening material on the other side of the firewall. Of course it would be the opposite corner of the battery in the engine bay , but we'll manage that too.

Thanks again, much appreciated .....

It may look like a tight place to get into, but if you get your hand in the right position you'll get it in the hole no worries ;) :P
