It's in the fuse box in the engine compartment. Fuse number 30 by the looks

Checked the fuse, its fine. Also checked the lancer manual and yes it is that fuse. Then I guess its the bulb.

I usually grab a multimeter first. can check the circuit and bulb very quickly. good tool to have in your stash...

Well everything in the car works and that fuse (which is 30 ampere) is used for a lot of electronics in the car is still intact, so I guess it can only be the bulb. Will open it up just now and check.

+1 for that. I have white LED for the cabin and blue lights for the map. I might swap them around or get more blue. :)

Yeah that fuse does do a fair bit...

Can't even start my car with it out hehe

Should really keep all my spare fuses in the glovebox then... Trouble is I'd need the large and small blade types

I think I keep a 'various' packet of each in my glovebox.. but I am hoping the nature of the car keeps these in the packet!

Have you used any Adrian?

Nope, still on all original fuses *touch wood*

For critical circuits, like airbags, ASC etc, the ETACS can re-route power down a different path if it needs to. very smart indeed.

I have a few spare fuses in my glovebox just incase ;)

Worst comes to worst you can always call RAC or if you have the Diamond Advantage thing call that number.
