Headlight wiring loom

Hey guys,

Just wondering if anyone knows what the extra plug on the headlight wiring loom is used for. There the the main harness plug with the orange internals which controls indicator, hi/low beams etc, but i cant figure out what this 2nd plug is.

I have just replaced my headlights, new ones have an accessory wire for DRL. And just wondering whether this plug controlled the crappy led on the oem headlights.

Will add a photo later (too large from phone so need to adjust sizing.)

2nd plug is used in the factory HID lights,it controls the turning motor and the self levelling motor.

Before i go testing, does anyone know if these are constant or switched power? Having aftermarket headlights and never having the leveling motors i dont really need the oem leveling motor cabling anymore ... but would like it to power my DRL if possible. If its constant from engine on they make lige a lot easier

The plugs may be there but probably don't work. There will be relays missing and additional wiring looms inside the car missing also.

Unsure, asking the company i purchased from for confirmation. I dont see why not, they arent HID/LED conversions for headlights only projector conversion ... still using halogen globes (for now, til i can source some 'legal' conversion kits), and the DRL is ccfl not LED so again ... doesnt require automatic leveling/cleaning like hid/led DRL lights.

"Pretty sure it is".....that says to me they aren't ADR compliant. If they were then the answer would have been "Yes".

there is no LEGAL hid conversion kits, for HID to be legal you need autoleveling projectors and headlight washers,, the leveeling is also impossible to retrofit and require so man gyros and sensors
