Ralliart Console Gear Indicator

I brought a console from a rallyart so I could get the chrome surround from around the gearshifter. The whole console plus the piece I needed was $60. I have utilised the silver piece that has the SST switch in (as it fits without out any issues) in my NA CVT Lancer. I wouldnt mind using the gear indicator that is also in it.

I have looked and read over numerous wiring diagrams.......anyone got any thoughts on where I could tap into to light up the currently selected gear.......besides sports mode of course. It is mainly to visually help my wife not that she has any troubles getting it to the gear she wants. I just see the slight look of confusion when the gear stick doesnt 100% line up with the letter of the gear she has pulled the gearstick to.
