Wiring latching button for LEDs

Iv'e bought a Latching Illuminated button for some LEDs (still waiting on the LEDs to be delivered) I'm going to install in my front grille. I wanted to try and figure the wiring early so I would know exactly how I would be doing it when the LEDs arrive but this button is confusing me.

It has a positive and negative for the illumination and NO1 NC1 and C1. Now I know that these are Normally Open, Normally Closed and Common but when it comes to putting this button between my fuse box and the LEDs is where I get confused.

I have almost no idea what to hook up but I'm guessing I want to go from my fuse to the + on the switch for illumination and to the C1. Then from the NO1 to the + of the LEDs and from the - of the switch illumination to the NO1 so the switch only lights up when the LEDs are on. Also ground the - from the LEDs.
This is probably very wrong so please let me know.

Thanks.

I think I might have figured it out but am still waiting on the LEDs so haven't hooked anything up yet. But heres a really dodgy diagram created in MS Paint to show what I mean.

Anyone know if this will work?
