Drove it this morning, and it came up about 5minutes later. I think it needed a satellite. Signal.

I have recently installed an MMCS in my 2012 Lancer VRX which has a usb port that charges my phone but the MMCS doesnt recognise it. Was just wondering if there is a way to make it reccognise the device

I have the same issue - I think the mmcs doesn't recognise the USB port.

Or BT streamed audio.

I wonder what all the fuss is about...! :-P

No, but there's a third-party on available - google it, they're available locally...

workaround for Bluetooth audio

Postby samfree91 » Tue Feb 24, 2015 10:33 pm

Hi,

For those who still want Bluetooth audio, after a bit of digging I have found a work around, as we have rca ports. I do not work for the company selling this, and am still figuring out how to power the unit. But I do intend on installing it. And I will keep the forum up to date with a how to for those who are interested. Product is as follows http://www.isimplesolutions.com/listen/ ... l#features

There is also an iPhone version

If anyone has any experience on installing the product or how I could power it suggestions would be much appreciated

I was thinking of using something like this:

simpler, cheaper.

Only prob is it's a 5v input. I'll keep looking for a 12v.

You can use one of them

Considering the unit is powered by a USB cable

Yeah, i've got one of those already to charge my phone. But then there's the whole separate issue with the RCA's being shielded poorly. I get mad interference on AUX with something plugged in to any 12V plug.

I plan on hiding it and borrowing power from something else. I guess I can disassemble one of those 12V USB plugs and just use the innards.

I hope somebody can help, my bluetooth symbol has a red line through it and it will not find my phone, I just purchased an Aspire and deleted the previos owners phones, I went into the second hidden menu and found some zero values in the Bluetooth RF section. Does anybody know what these values should be?
