Hey guys, just wondering what you all use to clean your cars? Im pretty set in my ways so i wont be changing
Just like to see what works for people.
I personally, after trying a few different products like mothers, meguiars, zaino, turtlewax etc fell in love with the autoglym stuff.
I wash the car with Meguairs NXT Gen Wash (the purple stuff). After that i hand apply and buff a layer of Autoglym Super Resin Polish, and then Autoglym Ultra Deep Shine.
I dont have any pics of my lancer yet, but heres one of a 18 year old commodore i used to own:

Autoglym is cheaper if you import from the UK

Was speaking to someone about this today in chat,im finding nu finish to be the best polish so far,i want to simplify when i polish, not use a 3 step 4 step system as i feel its unnecessary,i have tried this before and i cant say the car gets any more shiny by applying multiple steps, you can only shine a car so much.
It shouldnt be anymore than a two step process,a polish followed by a wax and that should be it.

Used to use maguires soft wash, now I use turtle wax ice soap and recently got into ice liquid polish which is absolutely brilliant! Very pricey, but can apply it in direct sunlight, on rubber, doesn't mark glass and doesn't take much longer than shamoising

for a tip top shine, meguires all the way-except-a coat of nu finish prior to final coat of nxt wax. nu finish is brilliant. Cant go past an annual claying of the paint, prior to polishing/waxing for best results
