I know the above polishes i mentioned in the title thread are supposed to be up there with the best, but is ther another polish you can get where you dont have to have to do step 1 step 2,pre wax cleaner etc..?
I already have clay bared the car which was a waste of time now since after i used to high pressure wash at the car wash, the surface seems to be rough again.
I know nu finish polish is supposed to be ok??
There must be a polish where you can just apply without stuffing around with prep work??

you don't have to do prep work... but if you want a decent finish, it's all in the prep.
look at painting a car or house for example... if you paint over old sh1tty paint or rust it's going to look sh1t. if you take care and do the proper prep work it will stand out.
as for clay bar, it's the final thing you do before polish/wax... you don't clay bar then drive around for a bit, then polish/wax a week later....

Thats true what your saying,as my car is only 5 months old, according to meguires all they recommend me to do is clay bar, which i did, then apply the wax, however i had to use the high pressure soap at the local car wash cause my car was filthy from the cruise. I have noticed the surface of my paint isnt smooth anymore, unless the high pressure soap stripped the wax.
I was just looking at differant forums regarding nu-finish and most people swear by it,as i have a bottle in the garage i may give that a go
