Has anyone thought about installing any? not that there actually needed but what do u guys think about them?

anyone know where i can get any?

Do you really need them?

Aren't they to hold the fibreglass hoods in? Our bonnets are strong enough and heavy enough as is, really no need :).

They can be useful in high speed situations such as trackwork in case of hood latch failure, for obvious reasons.
Any decent parts shop should have them. :wink:

i know out hoods wont go flying off... im thinking purely to ad a more rally inspired look.

The Aerocatch ones are the best out there. And street legal, unlike exposed ones.

They are a bitch to install though. So I am told.

You can put hood pins on whatever bonnet you like! Just requires cutting holes haha

I think they are for cars that don't have the double latch.
We wouldn’t need them but I think they would look pretty cool.
My vote is for the exposed ones, like on some Mustangs with the wire that holds the pin.
