I'm not sure what canards are, I did a quick google search but it seems to be specific to planes
Can anyone elaborate on this? (with pics if they have any)

Basicly what a canard does is increase the downforce on the front wheels where the balance of traction is more towards the rear.
So in short...Pushes the front of your car down to make it steer better

not really sure why you would need canards unless your intending to track your car, especially considering they're illegal in queensland drake

yeah something to do with them being too much like bodacia's (the spikes they had on chariot wheels in rome) in the event of a passanger collision
