All depends on the tip and the quality of work you are desiring mate...

You can get cheapie tips from supercheap which have a bolt on them which will secure the tip to your exhaust. They are dodgy and will rust.
If you go to an exhaust shop, they will cut off the existing tip and weld a new one on. Expect to pay $100 for a good quality tip that will not rust in a month.

Cant believe [s]we[/s] they still sell them... I thought they were cleared out a long time ago (just so tacky). Agree with Lzy_eye - cheap and nasty.
Personally I'd fork out the little extra and get a shop to pop one on for ya...

Good stainless is expensive. I payed $330 for my resonator back exhaust. So I payed $230 for the guys labour and mild steel system and $100 for the tip!! Worth it though

Supercheap exhausts aren't that good IMO,
Two friends have them, one had it professionally welded on (he told them to wield it aiming to the side
) the other put it on himself and it fell off.

I just meant the actual end tip, not the muffler. But they are rubbish too!! If you want mufflers or tips and don't want to buy Greddy etc, do youself a favour go to an exhaust shop!!

Yeh visit your local muffler shop they can hook you up with a nice chrome tip. I got mine for $60 fully installed got my bros one installed too but his cost $80 due to that i got his pipe converted to stainless to give it a much nicer look.

Don't let them scare you too much about places like Supercheap and Autobarn... they do carry full stainless tips, one of which I have... Expect to pay upwards of $60 for a 304 stainless steel tip, which will not rust.
