Hi guys, first time posting

Just bought a new 2017 CF lancer sedan in titanium silver a week ago and although my dream would've been to buy an evo, my wallet slapped me hard in the face and a cf lancer was the next best thing I can do. (To be honest I walked in to a dealer to buy a used 2014 2015ish lancer but they gave a pretty good deal on a new one so I bought it)

Anyway, really love the look of the back but the front not so much. Which is why when I did some google searches and found this site, I saw a picture in a thread here viewtopic.php?f=1&t=19240&start=30 and near the bottom of the page user "david.sempf" posted some pictures of his lancer and the front bumper that he has is something I definitely want to do to my lancer.

Now I have next to no idea when it comes to buying parts or modifications or anything to be honest so I was hoping I could get some guidance.

1) Where would I be able to buy that bumper for my CF lancer, and how much would I be looking at it?
2) When I looked up some parts on line they said they come unpainted. Does that mean I have to paint the bumper after I buy it - or are there any shops where I can order the part in and they can paint/fit it for me.
3) Headlights - I notice that when I unlock my car with the key, the two lower lights turn on automatically - and they are "white" or is it called LED? But when I actually turn the headlights on, they're the yellowish lights. I want to change them to white LED lights as well, what would the rough cost be to buy and have them fitted for me?

I dont know for sure but it looks like he's painted or wrapped the upper chrome section white and then blacked out the rest. Its come up looking pretty good.

As a general rule of thumb
If a part is unpainted
It's means exactly that
It will need to be cleaned up and full prep done to it to be spray painted including under cost and the whole shooting match. This will cost you some $
Get it paided by a professional spray painter

Where can you buy the bumper?
Off a wrecking yard? eBay? Gumtree?

How much for it? Great question. How long is a piece of string. ??

I am hoping to be able to get it fitted for around $1,000 mark including paint - is this a realistic figure?

And is buying from eBay and gumtree a good option or is there a shop that I can visit in person to have a look?

I have seen RA brand new bumpers for about $500-700
Then you will need to get it painted
From the prices I have checked out your looking between $500-$1000 for paint depending on who it is

As for changing the front bumper, you should be able to do this yourself
The front bumper isn't too hard to remove, it is time consuming to do though.
There is a few videos on it on YouTube and from memory there was someone who did it and left some instructions here on the forum.

With that paint job the CF front looks pretty good, pity Mitsubishi didn't do something like that before killing of the Lancer

Yeah looking at those photos, made me regret not buying the white one lol

Going to have a few searches online and see if I can find a bumper that looks like that one.

The guy who put up the photos hasn't been online for a while but I'll also PM him as well, see if I get any luck

And the photo has the lancer of the photos I’ve linked with the bumper I’m after so I contacted them to see if they have the bumper and unfortunately they don’t...

Has anyone dealt with carmate recently? They’re in East fairfield and the google reviews aren’t too great and there are some reviews of them on clubcj but they’re from a while back... thinking of giving them a go
