Removing middle section of front bar

Postby Powderedhippo » Fri Apr 26, 2013 1:11 pm

I've seen pictures of people blacking out the middle section of their front bar with vinyl though recently I saw a member on here with the entire middle section removed and meshed over though I can't seem to find it again.

I'm guessing this would have been done by a body shop but does anyone know if this would affect the car at all? From what I've seen I can't see that middle section doing anything important besides holding the number plate.

Are you sure they removed the entire centre peice. Maybe it was just one of the EVO X peices you install of the existing centre piece.

Doable maybe but not without reinforcing the front bar as in the centre area there are a lot of housings and supports.

im sure it could be done but would be tricky.
