hmm didnt realise there were so many factors, but i guess it is on the front end after all, and will most likely get chips and scratches so vinyl might be the way to go.

But if its too thin it will most likely need to be replaced when it gets scratched, too thick and it cant be curled around the top and bottom? (thats what ive been told)

I really dont want to do it myself cause ill most likely f**k it up!

I have done 15,000 kms of mostly country driving with mine and it has only 2 or 3 stone chips in from really big stones. I think mine has held up pretty well and the only reason it has tears is from me going to fast. I going to replace mine soon and what I am thinking is that I will put a new vinyl over the old, this should stop any issue with big stones and tears I think.

thanks for the info, yeah i do a lot of "fast driving" too so I just want something durable :)

Is it possible to replace that centre bit with another bit, say a black plastic bit instead of the body colour one?

I think I saw it on a parts website somewhere O.o (probably from america)

S**t easy for me to do!!

Best to remove the upper grill and wrap the top edge over so that the paint colour can't be seen when the grill goes back on.

In regards to airbrushing. I can help you out.
PM me if you like

Sorry for the slip up.
