Just got car back from tint and they have damaged this part by the off chance does anyone have a part number or know what its even called haha thanks all

This specific part is called "moulding front door window belt", some call it window trim or door trim though.
Mitsubishi sticker on the packaging says "W/STRIP ASS"
I ordered genuine Mitsubishi chrome moulds off amayama as I couldn't find them at wreckers or on eBay xD
Black you can easily find on eBay and wreckers however, chrome is a bit harder to find. It was about $236 for all 4 chrome moulds brand new from amayama.
Part numbers below for all 4 doors
Chrome:
Mitsubishi 5727A105 - MOULDING
Mitsubishi 5727A106 - MOULDING
Mitsubishi 5757A089 - MOULDING
Mitsubishi 5757A090 - MOULDING
Black:
5727A005

The ones he is looking for look like internal ones rasit. The chrome ones you got were external no?

Thank crickey it was a 2010 on model, I panicked when I saw your VIN and had flash backs too Reece's VIN which was too new for the EPC I use
Your internal weather strips are below, you need two of each if you're ordering for the whole car =)

Oh I did on Monday and he took photos and said he will speak to the installer and contact me later that day, anyways two days pass nothing so I email asking what’s up, to be told

Sorry for the delay but the installer was out on the road all day yesterday.
I spoke to him this morning and asked if he noticed anything unusual with the panel.
He did say he didn’t see anything but it wasn’t something he was looking for.
The installer said that he can’t remember anything breaking.
If you can give me a couple of days I will get back to you.
I contacted a wrecker and they want 66$ for the part, no way in hell im paying for that so I guess I’ll wait for the tint shop to make a decision as to what’s happening, because I bet my life that the panel had 0 damage prior to me dropping it off to them.

If you're in Melbourne there's heaps of wreckers with CJ lancers that will sell you that part for $5 - $10

Better than here, I called a bunch of wreckers in the Brisbane and Sunshine coast and not many CJs around. Maybe we take better care of them LOL?

I'm after some mirrors with power fold, just chasing prices as I'm not 100% sure my CJ has the wiring in place to use them, need to check that out first.

hahaha yeah i can get that part brand new for 20$ and the wrecker near me wants 66$ i swear some of them are f***ed in the head or something, anyways just gotta wait for the tint place to work out what they wanna do aha.
