I use meguires leather treatment for my interior leather and do it once a fortnight, build up can be from sweat, sun cream and other contaminants.

Make sure you condition/treat afterwards prob with a automotive specialised leather interior product cause I imagine the ones used for saddlery and leather lounges will be too slippery. The saddle soap/cleaner safely gets the dirt out but also has a drying effect on the leather if not followed up with conditioner.

Or you can buy leather wipes at Woolies for like $5, I bought some for my leather steering wheel :3 It was the best $5 I ever spent! :D Also cleaned my leather seats with them! :D
