Boot Liner wont come off?

Hi Guys,

Trying to put in my new LED taillights on my 08 vrx sedan and to change the centre tail light sections i need to remove the liner on the inside of the boot ( as in the part that actually opens and closes not the normal boot interior) but the little plastic things that are sposed to screw off (i think?!) just seem to keep spinning round and round and dont actually come undone?

Anyone else had this problem or have any ideas on what i can do??

apply a bit of pressure behind the actual screw it worked for me gave it something to bite to i got a trim tool to stick behind it to apply the pressure but i screw driver would work if you dont have a trim tool

I've found the easiest way to get these off is with a butterknife, just get it into the middle bit and it'll come out quite easily.

Well that explains why they werent unscrewing haha. Ill try that!
