Changing the gear knob

I did a search, but could not find anything.
Has anyone changed the gear knob on their cars? I'm looking at getting one of the Trust Greddy ones as I like a nice heavy gear knob to clean up gear changes.
Is the stock one on the Lancer just the standard screw on type? My Swift has a special clip on gear knob, but thankfully it was quite heavy stock.

We're good drivers, we could do it with our eyes closed (but people might have to move ever so slightly)

Yeah wasn't really a fan of that one. I do like the Trust/Greddy ones so I think I'll still go for one of those, they have a good weight about them.
Thanks for that pic too.

In Qld its illegal to change your gear stick knob to one that doesn't have the gearing pattern on it.
