I usually just put them under the front seats.

I'm getting mine installed next week. I'll be putting mine on the back of the seat most likely

It's just a box?? Haha. Just a basic system. Think I'll just go with the back seat

i mounted mine upside down to the parcel shelf in the boot, i was told they would over heat but last i checked the casing of an amp is a heat sync doesnt matter what way the things facing.... anyway mine works fine being upside down and there is plenty of places to run the cables through etc...

On the back of the back seat, if u fold the seats down to be able to store anything the amp my get scratched or damage cabling with items against them.
Under the seat. Safe and out

heard stories of subs slowly eroding parts in an amp through vibration....so i disliked puting my amp in the boot...BUT im glad i did now rain got into my car one particularly rainy day and had it been under my passenger seat it would of been worse. Cant say i've had any problems with it in the boot MYTH BUSTED

Mine has been under my driver's seat for over a year now and I love it that way...Highly recommend it that way + very easy to bolt on if you have bracing and know where it's safe to drill...

it isnt just about it getting wet. its also about damage from gear in the boot, cables being pulled out, inability to fold seats and carry larger items if amp is on back of seat.
oh and i will NEVER mount and amp onto a subbox or upside down under parcelshelf.
