Auto-up Windows

The extra settings in the ETACS box is in the link I provided earlier. You may be on a winner with changing the mode of the windows
There is 4 or so modes of the windows.
I was wondering what those modes were all about.
I might go tinker sometime later today

I have changed the window modes before and it reverted back to the old one. I dont think it will enable the auto up.

Here is an explanation of the power window modes.

Type P1 - the buttons work after turning off the ignition for 30 seconds, on the passenger doors the windows are lowered / raised by their own buttons and on the button block on the driver’s door all the buttons lower / raise their windows.
Type P2 - the buttons work after the ignition is turned off for 30 seconds, the windows on the passenger doors are lowered / raised by their buttons on the doors, on the driver’s button block on the driver’s door the driver’s glass button works normally, and the passenger door buttons only work on lifting in automatic mode, you can stop the glass pressing the lift button again.
Type P3 - buttons do not work after turning off the ignition.
Type P4 - buttons do not work after turning off the ignition.
Type P3 MMAL - buttons do not work after turning off the ignition.
Type P4 MMAL - the buttons work after turning off the ignition for 30 minutes exactly, after 30 minutes, the windows seem to work, but in the timer mode for 6 minutes, if any of the buttons are pressed during this period, the timer is reset and the next 6 minutes go, if you do not touch the buttons during these 6 minutes, the power windows will turn off. As a result, the time period of work is 36 minutes. The operation mode on the passenger doors of the glass is lowered / raised by its buttons on the doors, on the block of buttons on the driver’s door the driver’s glass button works normally, and the buttons of passenger doors only work on lifting in automatic mode,

This is for the Asx but should be similar. It mentions doing some modifications to the window regulators as I mentioned before. Just changing the switches wont do anything. The the etacs has to see the motor as having the auto up/down function or it just wont work.

Default is P4 MMAL on mine and a number of others I seen
