Postby lantourismo » Tue May 06, 2014 2:36 pm

Hi, been looking at my carpets, bought my car second hand last year and hav water my carpets to be nice and clean looking but despite vacuuming and trying those rub in carpet cleaning products it's still not coming good. Anyone got any tips or help for my problem? Cheers

Was it all dry when they finished? I was thinking of hiring one of those vacuums from Coles but I wouldn't want the carpets to nt dry in this weather

Well the place I took it to has their own drying facility...when I got the car back it was dry and clean and I was amazed that my carpets could look like new..I wish I had taken before and after pics to show you...

You can dry the carpets under a fan in your house or leave it in your garage and let the wind do its job..

No, a professional detailer will steam-clean your carpets, same as they do for your home - they won't take them out as a) it takes too much time & b0 they may shrink...

The DIY cans of carpet cleaner don't do anything in my experience.

No I'm pretty sure they did not take out the carpet but they took 5 hours in total...
