Bob: Moving the switch was quite easy actually. I just made up a loom out of wire I got from Jaycar, Cut off the plug about 5cm down the wiring. (so you can connect it back up again), ran the cable under the dash and cliped it above the steering column, Twisted, soldered and taped the wiring to the new plug, mounted the switch in its new position and thats it. You really ar just relocating the switch and extending the wiring. It took me about 15 mins all up. I'd be happy to help you move it if need be.
