WTB: - RA Intake Snorkel

Hi all,
im hunting down an RA intake snorkel for my ES, want the wideness off it rather then the thin stock ES intake.

They are pretty cheap from mitsubishi parts, same price as the normal intake snorkel, I got one for $140 in the GC

Do they just go straight on? Or do you need to modify them to fit?
Im hunting one to.

Doesn't worry me either way, almost at point I'm going to fiberglass one up

They fit straight on, though you might need some new clips to get them fitted on stock. The clips are some "Christmas tree" press ins and are like A$5 from Autobarn or Repco or SCA.

LOL at RPW's professional fitting method, a bloody zip tie. Doesn't take a genius to workout two xmas tree clips from any auto store job alot better and neater for less then $10.

with the k&n filter and the RA intake it would have to make some sort of gain. Surely?

Not a "significant" gain... it will help breathe a little better and improve your throttle response. If you are expecting 10kw gain, then I am afraid this is not the correct mod....
