hey mate i you wont notice any difference in the quality get your self a better head unit first

Thanks for the input, I just thought they might be decent enough for a temporary fix as they dont need spacers etc. But I think Alpine Type R / Type X dont need spacers either from memory, so ill look into that

I was worried that if i got a new head unit I would lose my steering wheel controls and bluetooth capability?

most head units will work with the steering wheel control , some like my parrot you have to buy an adaptor to get it to work , any good stereo resller or installer will know what u will need to get it all to work and will be able to explain it to you
