2010 Effect Grey Activ SB.
Cant wait, had 2 cars totalled by our wild storms last month so bought "she who should be obeyed" a current model Colt which she loves and my choice is above. Been reading all the mods and I am sucked in to the point that I am plotting to buy those Auto Folding mirrors and swap her Colt switch on her as she will never use it. Anyway, David's the name and look forward to chatting and spending $$$ on mods. BTW anyone have an opinion on this. I searched and searched the forums but nada

Welcome to CCJ!!
Hope you enjoy your stay.
As for the GPS unit, apparently they are pretty dodgy. I have never owned one though sorry.

Welcome the club David.
Good to hear some thing good came from the storm.
As for the GPS some members have tried them. They are cheap and break down regularly. The old saying "you get what you pay for".
Good luck with the modding.
Post some pictures up with your new cars when you can

Welcome aboard David =)
And just to run it home for you, your wallet will NEVER be the same again. In fact, I'd be surprised if it ever weighs the same again
Nevertheless, good to have another member!

Don't listen to every one David.
My wallet is a lot heavier now. It is full of receipts.

Hey mate Welcome to the club
Regarding the GPS headunit its absolute garbage. Another melbourne member (Ral1rt) has it in his Ralliart and it freezes up, messes with the voume and all other sorts of stuff. Not worth it at all!!
If you got any other questions post them up and we'd be happy to help you out

Hey Dave,
Welcome to the club. Bad luck about the hail damage, but nice pick up on the Lancer.
Be great to have you come and join us for a meet/cruise some time. Maybe even bring "she who must be obeyed" along.
Take it easy

Thanks all for the welcome. I am used to making my wallet heavier on receipts from vehicles such as Honda Goldwing Parts (2 of those) and funily enough an Italjet dragster parts (think ducatti for scooters )

These photos were before I bought and and replaced industrial quantities with Carbon Fibre, racing engine mods etc. Absolute rockets...Sadly company folded parts are hard to find and they were italian and now no longer!
They Drag them in the UK current standing (PM Tuning) 1/4 mile time 11.90 seconds at 104.68 mph for a 172cc scooter
But now I have a new toy coming Woo Hoo!
