Hi everyone, im tjoz and Ive been to these forums before but never signed up till today. I mainly stay on the MCA forums.
I have a 2009 CJ Lancer, white one. Its my second one. First one was written off by a nice driver that decided 60km was for idiots, red lights are there to look nice and the front passenger side of my car was looking like a real nice place for the front end of his car. I got replacement car but it still not the same as my first one. No one was injured though except for bruising and rattled brains.
Since the accident I have a growing want for fitting rocket launchers to the car in case of accident. Its a whole thing I never want to go through again.
Ive seen some people that use the MCA forums here too and will put shots up of Lancer #1 (before its death) and #2 soon

You have a new Lancer, right? No need for rocket launchers then... haha
You must like your Lancer, to get a second one. Hope you make it your own and enjoy it as much as the last one.

I live in the western suburbs but work all out over on the other side of the city... Moving probably before christmas to abit closer to work but not too close. Ive always liked Lancers, if they ever bring out a 2door Lancer in the current shape I will get it. I had choice between two cars when I got the first one, either a Lancer or an A3. Lancer won. Was going in for the hatch but after seeing it in person the sedan looked better. Plus what the sales guy said was priceless...
But ive gone from an 08 build to an 09 and on performance value getting an 08 build is better in that regards for the way the gear box is set up. From 3rd to 5th its not as relaxed as it is in the 09 builds. First gear they still got nothing.
First one what I had done to it polarized people. It was either like it or hate it. I put an adjustable gt drift wing on it that was barely legal. It was very different to other Lancers and I got a lot of crap for it. As strange as it looked, that thing could corner like it was on rails and held the road like anything. The difference from going from no spoiler to a gt drift wing then to the vrx spoiler its like 3 different cars. Here is Lancer #1 in various states of work:
And here is Lancer #2. She has had the blackout done, some chrome grille surround, wheels where put on and she was lowered on the weekend. I like the springs on it, they yellow and it looks nice against the black wheels. Also done some interior stuff too and a little bit of work on the intake.
